Ottawa's Finest Mansion!

Beautiful big home in a private community. Very close to everything! Easy drive from Ottawa airport. Updated kitchen appliances, giant refrigerator. Washer and dryer very accessible. Owner easy to work with, always available immediately via message. Would absolutely stay here again.

Overall it was a great place to stay for the weekend. Very spacious and lots to do. There is a game room that’s tons of fun and the hot tub was great. There was a tiny issue with getting the code to work when we got there but the owner reset it and after that there were no issues. Would definitely book again.

We booked this expecting a luxury stay but it clearly was not. Access was unsafe, with thick ice blocking the entrance. The garage contained a MOUNTAIN of garbage, with a strong odor throughout the home. There was a toilet with feces in it. There were only paper towels in the bathrooms and we found wet towels in cupboards. There was rusted cookware, a dirty fridge and stained furniture. Advertised amenities (fireplaces, games equipment) didn’t work. While the host sent someone to address the garbage and burnt out bulbs, the overall condition reflects long-term neglect that could not be resolved on short notice (damaged walls, chipped paint, damaged floors). This property is not as described and does not meet basic cleanliness or maintenance standards, let alone a “luxury” listing. I have been as factual as possible since the host has threatened me with a poor rating if I say anything bad about the property. It may be worth 200/night but not more.

Host very helpful and answered all questions. The house is huge and very welcoming. Great if you have kids.
